You go to the judge to plead your case. If you want to work and be child free, that's fine. Maybe she shoves Joffrey off the side of the castle and then throws herself off after him.But once again, Sansa does what most normal people would do in a hostage situation. SA bit of a personal anecdote here (and why I might identify with Sansa so strongly): I didn't have the most fun family life growing up, and by the time I was in college, I dreamed of having my own family. Having Sansa suddenly work with Littlefinger to steal power out from under her family would be bad writing. Over the course of the seasons, however, her life became full of tragedy, starting with the death of her father, Ned Stark.
Reply. Hindsight is 20/20 here. but that doesn't preempt good writing. FROM A BOOK PERSPECTIVE only, the cruelty and arrogance Sansa shows her sister and servants could be ignored as the stupidity of being young. Since Season 1, Sansa has been married against her will twice, the last time to a sadistic rapist who tortured her and killed her brother. The character we've had these six seasons has never shown one ounce of desiring power. One Reddit user is convinced Game of Thrones hinted that Sansa is a Targaryen. If they want to make Sansa smart, then they need to be dropping subtle foreshadowing, showing her playing the game and getting better and better at it. She could have some actual character development instead of the mess we got. She can't fight. )Then this guy who keeps telling her he can trust her brokers a marriage to Ramsay. I can see why she kept quiet. Sansa deserves a good ending, so hopefully, she gets it. The thought of an innocent creature being punished--a creature under her care--results in her totally losing her sense of decorum in front of all the people she was desperate to impress. Reddit Whatever happens to Sansa in the end, she's proven herself to be worthy of ending the show on top. Look at the arc this character has had--from an idealistic, bratty teenager to a woman who is strong and smart and realistic.
