Similar style to 4 year universities - lecture heavy but you'll need to study on your own to get an A.
She makes a relatively hard science class pretty easy with her very well organized step-by-step lectures.
Go to the library and ask for his old exams to review, they help a lot. The only way to reach the professor is during lecture, HE DOESN'T RESPOND TO EMAIL'S NOR CANVAS MESSAGES.He teaches with his PowerPoint presentations. VERY lenient grading (85% is still an A). Her lectures are completely clear, she lets you know exactly what you are expected to learn and she is always available for questions. Dont need a bookDr. do well on the tests and you'll get an A. A few of students dropped her.she was an a pleasure best chem teacher you will find hands down. He does NOT know how to teach and his exams are the most difficult exams. Atti is very knowledgeable and passionate about Chemistry. She really prepares you for the tests by giving a lot of practice problems, so there are no surprises. I maintained an A, despite missing nearly a third of the semester and a portion of the labs.
Abraha BAHTA, Ph.D (310) 287-4236 BahtaA@wlac.edu MSB 233. She genuinely wants you to learn and is there to help you!Professor Atti is a great biochem teacher.
She is so nice and works hard to help you learn.Dr. I'm a lazy student don't like reading or doing much, but this professor was so educated and had amazing lectures. His lectures aren't too long, he knows when to stop lecturing if he thinks he's given us too much.
Exams: Show upward trend.
Shes very tough. Tells you exactly what's going to be on tests/quizzes.
I got an A, but you have to work hard for it and go to office hours! Buy "Organic Chemistry as a Second Language"- it will clarify topics that might be covered quickly. Sign in to review and manage your activity, including things you’ve searched for, … He also walked around the room to ensure everyone knew how to solve problems.
Definitely 100% recommend her!Took her bio chem class..... Bio chem is not an easy class, she does her best to help the class understand.. STUDY FOR THE EXAMS AND QUIZZES !!!!
she gives out pop quizzes every week which aren't hard you just have to study but i would definitely take this class again.Never took a chemistry class before however, this Professor made it palatable to understand.
Search the world's most comprehensive index of full-text books.
He is flexible and does not have set dates for exam. And if you show up, listen, and ask questions, you won't need to open the book.
Her exams are fair though Biochem is not an easy class.
It feels good to leave the class and know that you have actually learned something. She doesnt let you use your phone in class . Brace yourself this class is not easy at all. Attendance is based off lab and exams. 2. You need to spend time out of class, do the homework for the test bc that's 5 point instead of the study guide. She has the ability to break down an otherwise difficult subject into easy to understand concepts.
DO THE PRACTICE PROBLEMS! People with the neg comments obv dont studythis professor is so amazing.
One of the best teachers WLACC has because she breaks down information in such a way for one to UNDERSTAND, class outlines-text not required, study guide for quizzes & exams; 4/5 Exams, final, lab & 10 quizzes are your final grade. Elizabeth BELL, Proi (310) 287-4585 BellEA@wlac.edu MSB 224. Tests are not easy, but definitely fair. And don't don't ditch the labs, you'll need those too.Great professor!Smart, would answer all questions.
Simple as that. However, if you do well on the exams and at least show up for labs, you can easily get an A.He's smart, everyone on here will tell you that.
Extra credit is there to help. He is a kind, KIND person, and immensely interested in the well-being of his students. If you show interest and try, she will really help you out. her labs were so easy she gives out a lot of extra credit.
There are 8 quizzes (25 pts each), 5 exams (she drops your lowest one) and gives EC quizzes (10 pts each). My advice would be to stay on her good side. Lab notebook will be a large chunk of grade.
Took Dr Atti for my very first Chemistry class - she is great. test not hard if you do the practice test she gives you.
The course is designed to provide an introduction to the principles, concepts and terminology of biochemistry, with an emphasis on the structure and function of biomolecules, the role of intermediary metabolism in energy production and common biochemical laboratory techniques. A is awesome.
!She is a true gem and a GREAT professor! Attendance is based off lab and exams. If you want to maintain your sanity and high gpa keep away from this prof, not worth all the stress. There's no homework for this class. Do hw and practice test to help you really understandThe WORST PROF you could ever take throughout your entire life span!!!
