Its very stressful when you’re kids are sick, you want to know how to help them and this thermometer is just all over the place.This product was on my wish list for my registry when choosing products for my newborn I was excited knowing that I wouldn't have to be trying to struggle when my baby was sick to try and take her temperature. You can also accurately take a temperature using the more traditional forehead touch method. This is not what you would expect from this product. Not only is the Braun 3-in-1 No Touch Thermometer very easy to operate and read but it’s also very reasonably priced too. It reads a higher temp, incorrect temperature is recorded.Purchased this product as we have purchased the brand in the past and unfortunately the product gave different results each time and the results were dramatic as well. It gives me different results every time I use it, with a range of about 2 degrees. It seemed pretty easy to use however, I got inconsistent readings by +/- 2F...that's not good, especially if you're running a fever...or not. This is very distressing for him and me when he’s up at night with a fever and the light in his eyes is upsetting him and I’m getting readings that can vary from 37 to 42.5 depending how exactly I can hold it near his wiggly head. 6.5 hours later our baby had blood drawn, a catheter in him, and was in no way sick or feverish. completely normal temps while the braun was still way off.
