I saw a few caught by Miller Park.I think we were too early for the steelhead, but not for suckers.The only Dam that stops them would be the mill pond park in menomonee falls How far do the salmon run up the river?
All the fish from this weekend have seemed to move out with the exception of the same few I’ve seen all season. go2fish . water level was still a little high from the rain and visibility was limited.

The Spawn might be winding down but as for walleye in the river there still there into june most of the big girls head back to the bay and feed in the shallows. I had been keeping my eye on river flows and the spring run of steelhead.
No problem. The suckers have come in surprising numbers, I seen at least 50 of them in a small stretch of river. I was just asking cause I used to live near the river in several places from north west Milwaukee to Menomonee falls and fished most of that stretch of the river when I was younger and know that it is shallow and skinny most times and was unaware of all the dams being removed.
