She also runs the business unit that empowers nonprofits to use Twilio to scale their impact. Although quite large (500+), Twilio still has a lot of the start-up charm and feel. Allows work from home. After being told I would get a chance to move up, that was denied me due to headcount/corporate semantics. Even though the company is experiencing growth, it retains a startup culture and the opportunity for employees to grow into new roles and/or new teams. Most of us were contractors being promised "conversion" full time repeatedly.
