They don't offer you a tasting OR a glass of wine as a member, and I understand why they don't want to cheapen the tasting room experience, but it will pinch the purse a bit more to make it a pop in for a glass if you're a member. Staff not friendly, pushy and prices are higher than neighboring vineyards.

Not only did Cristom not honor their word of returning the full fee but the value of the tasting was a complete rip-off. Each location is unique in the size of the vineyard and wine production, particular wine-making techniques, hospitality services, and views offered, as well as wines available for tasting.

It was also nice to look out from the top of the hill over the expansive Oregon countryside. Cristom did not treat us fair with their outrageous tasting fee and their not honoring their word of returning this.Booked their Educational Experience 2 weeks prior. This means we paid $105 for extremely small tastings of six of their wines. 14.2% alc., pH 3.77, TA 0.55, 2,058 cases, $41. We are so happy we stopped at this one. Good (but not great) views.
Wineries used to provide tastings for free, then a fee was imposed which was returned with purchase to sort out those who were there to drink for free. Love the building and grounds. Eola-Amity Hills is an AVA in the center of the Willamette Valley in Oregon, just north of Salem. Parked right next to vines. An attractive array of rich red to dark cherries that delivers a fine layer of perfume and a wealth of bright raspberries and red cherries. We hosted a bridal shower here. Using native yeasts and fermenting with whole clusters are the distinguishing methods on which we have built our business and our reputation.
